China is among one of them countries that commercial/industrial/office space is needed to register a company. Unlike the US, a home address would not cut it with the Bureau of Industry and Commerce Administration, which administers the registration of all business entities in China. The registration process is a serious process, which could take as long as 30 days.
I left the United States on the 23rd of June and arrived Hong Kong on the 24th in the evening. After resting in Hong Kong for a couple of days, I landed in Shenzhen on June 26. The second day, June 27, I went straight to my first round of business: looking for office space.
Shenzhen is a large city of 7 million people, or, 20 million according to the grapevine sources. Selecting your business location is important or you will get lost in the sea of buildings and people.
